Use the record type, not just the person's name, to choose where to look:

  • For a Clay County jail release or local booking record, follow the full search and request path on the home page, then contact the sheriff or jail.
  • For parole or felony probation after release, use the Parole & Probation information and DCS Donalsonville.
  • For someone believed to have left jail today, use the 24-Hour Release List workflow, which explains Clay County's request-based process.
  • For an expected prison date or an alert, consult Projected Release Date and the VINELink Check.
  • For the county facility itself, use the Clay County Jail page and official jail contact.
  • For a sentenced Georgia prisoner, use the GDC offender query or GDC records office.
  • For federal custody, use the BOP Inmate Locator. Use the ICE detainee locator only when an immigration transfer or detention is indicated.
